After You create an account you can add business listings to your user account - these business listings are your companies.

 There may be a number of reason for this:

1. You have not created a user account - please create an account - confirm your email address by clicking on the link that we send to you in your "welcome" email - and then login to your account.
2. You may have forgotten your password - please use our "password reminder" service by clicking on the link
3. You may have not typed your e-mail address correctly when you signed up - create a new user account.
4. You may have not confirmed your e-mail address in the "Welcome email" please click the link in the welcome e-mail or "cut n paste" the link to your browser - if you don't receive the welcome e-mail please check the "junk folder" of your e-mail it may be there. If you still have not received it create a new account with an alternative e-mail.
5. Very rarely we may ban accounts that violate terms of service.

No, there are absolutely no charges - in fact we prefer if you claim and update your listing - free forever.

 First you need to login to your user account. Then click on the menu item in the right hand side called "Add your business" Then select "Lifetime - Free" (if you want a basic account) click submit - then wait for the business listing form - complete all the relevant details about your business and submit. You can upgrade your account later if you so wish.

 Sri Lankan businesses are listed for free. All other businesses have to select one of the paid membership options.

 If you created a listing you should be able to see it under "Recent listings" in the home page or when you search for it in the index. If you still can't find it - this means that you did not do one of the following:

1. We provide free listings only for Sri Lanka Businesses  - foreign companies need to select a paid membership option
2. You did not create an user account
3. You did not confirm your user e-mail by clicking the link that came in your e-mail
4. You did not "add a listing" after logging into your user account
5. The system rejected your listing due to lack of important information but you missed the error message - try adding all the information again after logging into your user account
6. There was a system error - in which case send all details including your user account name to us through the "Contact Us" form or e-mail asif106@sltnet.lk

 Please click on the "send message" button on the listings 

Please DO NOT use the "contact us" link on the upper right corner of the page - this should be used to contact support department of LankanBusiness.com

 You may contact the businesses through - phone, fax, "send message", mobile, website, address, instant messenger and skype however all the methods may not have been activated by the business at the time of submitting the listing.

 LankanBusiness.com has a unique product gallery in the form of "classifieds"

First you need need to login to your user account.

Click on "orders" and select the company you wish to add the "classified" or product to by clicking the icon under "manage"

Then click on "Classifieds"

Then select "add classifieds" from the top left hand corner

Then fill out the form title, description, price, expiration date, view link, purchase link you can also add images of the product!

 There are two ways to advertise through Lankanbusiness.com

• Firstly, upgrading your account to "Silver" or "Gold" status ensures your banner gets displayed in our website and you get listed under "Featured Listings"
• Secondly, you may advertise on our site through your "Adwords" account - it has to be activated through your Google account

Please inform us through the "contact us" form - We will update ASAP - the Map shown in the listing may not be accurate as "Google Maps" has not fully charted all Sri Lanka roads.

If you do not have a user account - please go to the "Listing details" page and click on "Make a suggestion" You can enter all the necessary changes here.

If you have a user account and have previously added your business to the directory please follow these steps to edit your company listing:

1. Login to you user account.
2. In the "user options" menu click on "orders"
3. Then all your companies listings will be displayed in rows.
4. Then click on the Icon below "manage" for the company that you wish to edit details.
5. The full details of the company will then be displayed and you can do the necessary adjustments and submit

Free listings do not have the e-mail facility. If you want to activate it please upgrade to the "SILVER" package.

Once you upgrade a "Send message" button will appear on your listing the customer will click on this button to send an inquiry.

The customer can still see your phone, fax and address even in the free listing.
