My first day in Sri Lanka and my good friend Nellum made sure to make it a special one. She took me in for an absolute feast of a Sri Lankan home cooked meal.

Still to this day some of the best dishes I have had in Sri Lanka. Nellum is a fabulous cook!

Next, we went out for some street food. We got some ice cream at the oldest place in Colombo to help beat the heat.

Next, we went to tasty caterers for some iconic Sri Lankan snacks.

We then went out to Galle Face Green so try the iconic Isso Vadai and other street foods as well.
